How to correct an ugly room? The right color for the home contributes to a pleasing look for the eye. Colors can warm or cool the room and their existence depends on light. Colors can transform and correct ugly and unpleasing rooms. Light colors reflect light and they make room seem bigger. The dark colors make an area seem smaller. Color is used for emotional, physical and spiritual healing and they are often combined with astrology, acupunctures, crystals and traditional eastern healing. A room that is cold and only receives warm and sunlight during summer will work best with warm colors, such as red, yellow and orange that can brighten and add warm to the area. A room that is warm and sunny with sunlight will work best with dark colors combined with light colors.
