A house is a big investment so why not maintain and keep it free from danger? Maintaining safety is the number one goal to keep the house healthy and homeowners free from danger. Maintain the electrical and gas installations always in good condition. Be sure that children cannot reach any dangerous items to avoid accidents. Prevent fire especially in the kitchen. - Always maintain cleanliness within the entire house.

- Make sure the chimneys for gas and woodburning appliances are free from debris.
- Make sure that gas appliances are serviced constantly.
- Gas appliances should be repaired by professional repairman.
- Always operate and maintain appliances in accordance with manufacturer's instructions.
- Repair all loose connections and replace the damaged ones.
- Make sure that the attic, the basement and other parts of the house are exposed to an air circulation to prevent from risk of rot.
- Make sure that the gutters are always clear from debris and in good condition to prevent leaks and penetrating moisture and to prevent mildew.
- Clean a wet central heating system once a year to prevent rust.
Maintaining the house clean and tidy and preventing it from danger is keeping its value or increasing its value.
