Sheet flooring is another type of floor coverings. They are most useful and functional in the kitchen and bathrooms because they are waterproof barriers, cheaper and less slippery than tiles. Examples of sheet flooring are sheet vinyl, rubber flooring and linoleum. Rugs and matting are the alternatives for carpets. They are washable by hand or machine and movable. They are pieces of carpets to hide worn carpets. They are also decorative items to cover carpets or wood flooring. |
